The equivalent, at the matched load

Four elements and a dependent source reduced to two elements and a load. Probe the load: 1.5 V, so $P = 1.5^2/2.5 = 0.9$ W. Put the original network beside it with the same $2.5\ \Omega$ load and probe that: the same 1.5 V.
